Amidst the controversies of his book, and the tons of secrets revealed by Wright regarding Indian cricket he has publicly gone on record saying that he is on Ganguly's side. He said that the selection comittee and the new coach haven't got it right and should be including the man who has scored over 15,000 runs in international cricket. He also said that his relationship with Sourav was still good and there were no problems between the two.
