In second match of today Rajasthan Royals showed a great performance and bag seven wickets win in Banglore, away from home. Watson was the stars in thumping victory over Bangalore Royal Challengers. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and chose to field first and it works for them as they took off Dravid on second ball of Watson to an early pressure on Bangalore Royal Challengers. Chanderpaul who was playing first IPL match join Dravid in pavilion. Watson was the bowling hero for Rajasthan Royals and two for 20 off his four overs which help to restrict Bangalore Royal Challengers for 135 runs. New Zealand’s start batsmen Ross Taylor was the highest scorer for the Royal Challengers, smashing 44 off 20 balls. Warne also bowled excellent bowling and at one stage he has figures of 2-1-2-1.
Chasing easy 136 runs for victory they need a solid start but an early wicket loss of Rawat put Rajasthan Royals on pressure and Pathan’s departure will ask a question on run chase when Rajasthan Royals loss two wickets for 26 runs. But Watson once again came as hero in this match and smashed an unbeaten 61 from 41 balls helps his team to win the match by three wickets.
The win takes Rajasthan second in the table after 3 wins and opening match defeats while Bangalore are sixth after one win and two defeats. For Bangalore this is their second straight loss at home. They have to think about right team combination.
